Hi Everyone
I would very much appreciate some advice on this.

it's a CORSAIR CX 600 PSU.
The Fan failing, after 2 years of impeccable performance.
The PSU itself seems to work well though, and i'm rendering an animation right now.

Last night it began to produce anoying noises, getting stuck and spinning in random fashion. I tried to remove the dust (Yes, unfortunately i violated the warranty by opening it since i had to try a quick fix ).

The main use of my System is Cpu intensive 3d rendering, but i have nothing heavy on it like gaming graphic cards, or any other peripheral, so power consumption is relatively low. (May be its 600W it's over dimensioned )
I've never experienced that the PSU gets hot.
I also have 5 case fans, one of them is now lying on top of the PSU to provide enough ventilation.

My question is if do you think it's possible to replace just the fan for one of similar Voltage and specifications, (which is easy to access and is just attached with screws to the top ) , and in that case where do you think i can get the right part.

i found this web site
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9085/fan-562/Noctua_NF-S12B_ULN_120_x_25mm_Fan_Ultra_Low_Noise_-_500700_RPM.html?tl=g36c437s1123#blank

Of course i'm trying this before i spend money in a new one, and repairs, plus all the hassle since my work schedule is too tight these days.

Thank You Very Much.

S
