[SOLVED] DVD drives missing off my iMac

My LG DVD superdrive, my iMac is not seeing it, how can I get the driver?? The DVD is spinning but nothing else is happening... I can't download the software, everywhere is only for PC's

You shouldn't have to load anything. OS X has all of the necessary files included with it. This is the sign of a possibly defective device. They can and go go bad (I have replaced a couple in my daughter's Macbook Pro.

Is this system still under warranty?
