I have an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX motherboard that is brand new and paired with an 8350. When I flip the power switch on my PSU the standby light comes on on the motherboard. But when I press DirectKey or try to turn on the PC with the case button, nothing happens. No fans spinning, no beeps, no hard drive spinning. I have taken out the video card, sound card, unplugged the USB cord, and tried only the CPU 8 pin connector. I have a Phenom II X4 965 that I can try when I get home. Nothing is working so far. Please help!! Thanks.

Update: I put in my Phenom and nothing happens. Possibly the PSU?? There is NO WAY my motherboard could have short because I used an antistatic mat and an antistatic wristband.

So I tested it with a paper clip and the fan came on and it powered my disk drive and HDD. So it can't be my power supply, CPU, or front panel connectors. I'm pretty sure it isn't another dead mobo.. I hope. What could be the problem?? Im out of ideas.
