I recently became aware that the HDD I had purchased to write and store my gameplay footage only wrote at 24-26 MB/s... So now I'm in the market for an External SSD that can help me get better quality out of my captured footage. Specifically the LaCie Porsche Design P'9223 SSD: http://goo.gl/Oq1YvM .
I read that I can get up to 480 MB/s out of USB 2.0.
Will I get these speeds out of this SSD? Will I see a major improvement in terms of video quality?
