Hey,
I have a bad DC jack, but just wondering if the dc jack on the motherboard is bad,
before i replace. would a motherboard be bad if it still starts but doesn't charge? Like the dc jack shorted through all the layers? You can see the main probe burnt through...

You can see where the dc jack is, and near the fuse it may or may not have arced? Not sure if motherboard is still good... I smell foul odour from fan but that could be from jack, ill give it a cleaning after its all fixed....
