Hi, I am needing to retrieve some data from and old 3.5" IDE Hard Drive, it is a "Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 120GB ATA/133 HDD". Please find photo here: http://images.esellerpro.com/2131/I/166/63/Picture%20302.jpg
Will this allow my to plug it into a USB port on my new computer and copy the data?: http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Cables/USB+Cables/StarTech+Startech+USB+2.0+to+SATA+IDE+Adapter+?productId=56985

Could do with an answer ASAP, thanks to anybody who does answer!!!

I also need to copy that data if possible from its little brother, the 80GB version, exactly the same just 80GB. If I need something different for this one (why would I?) please do say.

The USB port cannot power a 3.5" drive. And only some 2.5" drives. See link above for something that actually works.
