Hello, I'm interested in buying the Asus CROSSHAIR V FORMULA-Z with some Corsair Vengeance Pro (CMY8GX3M2B2133C9R), however on the QVL there's no mention of the RAM and also the board is rated for "2133(O.C.)" where as the RAM itself is clocked at 2133Mhz already?
Will this be a problem?

CPU: AMD FX-8350

In short, nope, no problem at all.
QVL is just saying that I as the manufacturer has tried and tested, but they won't have to time to test every single RAM. In reality, most RAMs are compatible with any motherboard regardless of frequency, since you may downclock it as you wish or the motherboard will if necessary.

Thank's for the reply, though I still don't really understand why the motherboard is rated OC for some frequencies (DDR3 2400(O.C.)/2133(O.C.)/2000(O.C.)/1800(O.C.)/1600/1333/1066 MHz) if it works fine with them too, why not just list them without OC? What does the overclock (OC) next to the frequency signify?
