Wondering if this PSU can power this system for a few days.

I'm upgrading from a Phenom II 965 BE to an FX 8350, will be running with an XFX Radeon 6870 for the time being, i'm wondering if my current power supply is enough to run stable until I get my new one in a few days, the power supply is:

I know it has plenty of wattage, my concern is the 12v rail amp, it says it has 2x12 volt rails at 25A a piece. But i'm unsure if these combine to make 50. Kind of a computer nub. So will that PSU work with the CPU/GPU until I replace it? Thanks in advance.

Hi - very likely the 2x25 +12v amps combine for less than 50 (I didn't find a trusted review of it), and even tho it is a
junk PSU you should be able to run your new CPU & the 6870 for a few days.

I do recommend you upgrade to a good quality unit as soon as you can.
A PSU(rated at 700w) with only 2 6pin pcie connectors and a 1yr warranty is a dead giveaway
to low quality.

Yeah I know the PSU is junk. Just haven't had the cash to upgrade. Upgrading everything in my computer over the next few weeks so the PSU is next on the list. Think i'm going to wait until I get a new PSU before I throw that processor in, to be on the safe side. Thanks all.

Yeah - not a bad idea. I had a similar track, I upgraded my PSU before I got a discrete video card 2 months later.
