What I want help with is what should I upgrade next? Like whats more important that I should get now and what's the least important that I can wait until later to upgrade? I know I do want to get a better monitor (1080p).

A good upgrade in the middle of the budget. Yes the monitor could be upgraded and a SSD 120/128GB for 81$+.

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor ($149.99 @ TigerDirect)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card ($239.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: XFX 650W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($59.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $449.97
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

The 760G chipset sucks for a Vishera cpu, it will work but they tend to have issues. If you could spend an extra $50 you could also get a better motherboard.

Changing the board would require me to install Windows 7 again, right? I think all I have is the recovery CDs I was given.

It is loading fast data and can write fast, it is for Windows, programs and games to reduce installation, zipping, rendering and loading times in games. It would be the last upgrade if you consider this.
