Hello everyone!
I recently built my first pc a few months ago. When I put it together I put a single gtx 770 with 2gb vram inside. Now I am starting to think about upgrading. When I do end up upgrading my graphics should I just get a second gtx 770 and run sli becuase this would probably be cheaper. Or should I buy an entire new card that is more powerfull and has more vram. I am leaning towards running sli but I am a little worried about the 2gb vram though. Will the 2gb vram be an issue when running sli or is it enough to last me at least 3-4 more years from now? Also I am not planning to upgrade immediately so I am willing for a new line of cards to come out if you guys suggest it. I play on a single monitor in 1080p. Any reply would be great and thanks for reading!

Depends on what you play, but the 770 is plenty powerful by itself at 1080p for now.

And most games use around 1GB of VRAM during normal use, with the exception of heavily modded games like Skyrim. 2GB should be fine for the next couple of years, and when games do become more punishing, I would upgrade then. But if you feel like you can get more performance now, getting a second 770 now won't hurt :p

At the moment, 2GB is plenty, more is wasted money. You'll be completely fine with SLI 2GB 770s on 1080p, and will continue to be fine for years to come. 1080p is no longer incredibly demanding with the amount of power that comes with current gen GPUs.
