Hi,

I am considering upgrading my Acer Aspire M7720. I use it for gaming, internet and watching media. I bought it in 2009 and replaced the stock graphic card with a GTX560 Ti from Gainward in 2012 with good results. I would like to continue upgrading graphic card if possible.

I have following questions:

How much of a boost would I get from upgrading to a GTX 750 Ti?

How much of a graphic crad upgrade is feasible with the Acer FX58M mainboard and the i7-920?

Approximate Purchase Date: next 6 months
Budget Range: 250
Overclocking: No / Maybe
SLI or Crossfire: No
Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Thanks

The best card you can use will depend on the size and quality of the PSU you have. Since it is running the GTX 560ti OK, it must be of fairly decent size and quality. The GTX 560ti is a 170W card (14.2 amp @ +12V). Most of the GTX 750ti cards can run off of the slot power alone.
The GTX 750ti is still fairly new, so there's not much comparative stats about it yet:

But I doubt it would be an improvement over the 560ti. Let me know what the nameplate ratings on your PSU are for the +12V rail.
