Remove the Java program directories and Javasoft registry hives. Reboot. If you have 64bit Windows 7, don't forget to include HKLM\Wow6432Node\Software.

Hi,

Download javara and try to remove all installation from there.

Else, search for "sun" / "java" on your hard drive in safe mode and delete everything that is related to sun / java only
(if you use photoshop dont delete java script, ect.)

Then install ccleaner and cleanup the registry and file.

Once that is done you should be able to reinstall java or you might have a virus.

Did you blow out the program directories and registry hives too?
