I have a 7990 on windows 8 and for some reason I'm getting horrible fps (40 in minecraft, 20fps in BF4). When i first built my pc I was getting great fps (120 in BF3) but then something went wrong. I did a system restore and that fixed it but a while later i was having issues with audio, so i updated the bios and the issues came back and i don't have any restores that resolve it. I tried completely re installing the AMD drivers but that didn't help, i also tried both beta and stable drivers. I'm really running out of options and getting very frustrated. Please help if you can!

Try unparking your CPU cores. Google it and find a video.
If that doesnt work, re install windows.
