My USB stick won't show on desktop

I have a toshiba 8MB USB that will not load to the desktop, it flashes green when put in a port but it won't come up not even in disk utility have tried it on a iMac, a Macbook air and a PC

Yes other sticks do work but this was my main go to (guess I'll replace it BUT I really need some of the most recent data - I don't back up every single time I use it, just once a week and I got zapped
