Hi all

I'm just buying the last few bit's and pieces for my new rig (SWEET!!!).

I now have everything but the graphics card.......

I had originally decided on a 290x but at the 11th hour I've decided to spend the extra and get a 780 Ti.

I have:
Case: NZXT Phantom 630

Mobo: Asus Maximus Hero

CPU: 4770k

PSU: Corsair AX860

Monitor: Korean X-star 1440p/120hz etc etc (will do averything at 1440p where possible)

(I've will only listed the relevant parts.......)

The retailer I'm buying from (here in New Zealand) has only limited items in stock so I'm deciding between the ASUS GTX780TI-DC2OC-3GD5 GEFORCE GTX780 TI OVERCLOCKED 3GB GDDR5 PCI-E3.0 http://www.computerlounge.co.nz/components/componentview.asp?partid=21173 or EVGA NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 780 TI SUPERCLOCKED ACX COOLER 3GB GDDR5 PCI-E3.0 http://www.computerlounge.co.nz/components/componentview.asp?partid=20902

I've actually ordered the ASUS card but haven't collected/paid yet so could change my order if need be. It seemed to me that it made sense to choose the ASUS given that I have the ASUS MOBO.....

Can one of the experts please advise me on which card to choose?

Thanks all

I would go for the EVGA card. The cooler on it is a little bit better I believe. EVGA also has great customer support. Then again so does Asus.

Either is good, but I'd go with the EVGA.

Both are good cards, I myself prefer the Asus cooling (matter of preference) when I look at nVidia cards it's generally between Asus and EVGA, think I'd just stick w/ the Asus, they OC well (as does EVGA) in the end they will prob top out near the same)
