Hi,
I currently have a Gigabyte 2GB 7850 OC graphics card installed and I had planned adding another one in a crossfire configuration but the prices have shot up so I've been forced to look for other cards to pair it up with.

I've found an XFX 7850 for a good price and I was just wondering if the card I have currently installed will work with this. They both have the same amount of memory, 2 GB of GDDR5 memory, and the same clock speed, 860 MHz core clock and memory clock of 4800 MHz, and they're also both from the same class, 7850. It should work, but is there anything I'm missing? I don't want to buy the card if I'm just going to find out that it's not compatible with my old one.

Everything would work. I would recommend a single, stronger card. But that would work.

Thank you so much! I would buy by a higher single-end card but I don't have a lot to spend so I've just decided to buy another 7850. I would sell my old one and get something like the 7970 but I'm really tired of doing so much work inside my computer and then having to sell and ship my components off. Let's just hope that I don't have the problems that can sometimes accompany crossfire configurations!
