Hello i just bought this gaming computer described in the video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5n5dolXyyg0
the only thing i got different was the ram i got 8 gigs of crossair gaming ram ddr3

the setting in the video show that it can play almost any game on medium with atleast a decent fram rate. What i am experiencing is every game i try to play on it is needed to put down to low settings and still has horible frame rate. How do i check if i have a buggy part or if i am doing somthing wrong.
Specs:
cpu: Amd athlon x4 760k quad core processor 3.8
gpu: amd Radeon R7 260X
Ram: 8 gb crosair vengeance ddr3
OS: windows 8.1

I apologies for my spelling and lack of pc knowledge only my first build and first time posting to this forum thank you.

Solution
ok i fixed it i used a combination of increaseing my fan speed i changed all my old overclock setting back and boom far cry 3 on ultra with great frame rate thx everyone who helped will defiently be using this forum again

The AMD card in the video is a picture of a reference (stock) card from AMD with AMD's stock cooler; Your card has MSI's cooling system/fan set up. Doesn't look like much performance difference in clock and memory speeds, none you should notice.

Did you use the Corsair CX430 PSU?
Make certain that the PCI-Ex power lead from the PSU is fully seated in the video card.
Make sure the fan on the vid. card is spinning.
Try running a game or two with the side panel open and a fan blowing into the case: I don't think this is going to be a heat issue but it could be. If this solves the problem then you have to work on better ventilation.
The thermal compound/paste that came on the CPU should be just fine, but did you make certain that the heatsink was firmly seated on the CPU?
If none of the above solves the problem, can you borrow a similar video card from someone and try it in your system?
There is the remote possibility that there is something wrong with the video card.
Quick Update: getting late for me, had a long day, and I know better then to post when tired - so I am calling it a night. I'll be back tomorrow, God willing.

playing day z standalone my gpu on msi afterburner said 40 degrees and the max being 40 i dont know is that is a hot tempature it doesent seem hot but the fan also seems to go to 0 then to 80 % and all over i have a print screen but i dont know how to share that.

It's not considered as overheating unless it's hitting 85+ C
If you think you need to cool your components better, you would need a CPU cooler, dust cleaning, and maybe more fans depending on the current setup. If it is indeed overheating, then making it cooler will definitely stop the throttle

You probably should go into the Afterburner settings>Fan. On that graph you can set minimum and maximum fan speeds for the vid. card; I have my 660's set for a MINimum of 45% and then the fan increases rapidly to the Maximum of 74%.
You can set your own fan-speed-increase curve. Once all set, you just leave it on 'Auto'. On the first page of the Afterburner window make certain you have it check-marked to 'Start with Windows".
Glad it is working. GAME ON!
