The USB port on my portable hard drive is broken. It is impossible to put a USB cord in. Is there still a way to retrieve the files on my hard drive?

If you're lucky, you can open the case and take the hard drive that's inside and plug it into another external enclosure.

@ThatVietGuy If this is a Western Digital you may find that the data is not readable even if you can access it. This will be because it is encrypted with proprietary encryption.

You will need the USB assembly in order to read that data.
