I just got a new GPU which was the GTX 760. Prior to installation I was running on board gfx and everything was fine. Upon installing it and flipping the power, I heard a very high frequency continuous squeal. I plugged in my monitor and turned the computer on. It turned off again within a half second, then back on a few seconds later and stayed on. However, there was no display to the monitor. Then, I took my video card out and plugged the monitor back into the motherboard, but now even on board gfs won't show a display on monitor, and the beeping is there even without the video card in now. Is this something that requires me to buy a new motherboard? I'm at wits end here.
Edit: Ishould also mention that when the video card was plugged in, the LEDs on the computer were flickering, almost like lights when they don't get enough power. However, if it's a PSU issue, then why can't I get my display back with on board graphics?
Edit2: ALSO, when my GFX card is in, the red CPU led on the Mobo flashes continuously.
Specs: ASUS P8Z68-V Pro Mobo/i7 2600k CPU/evga gtx 760 gpu/8gb ddr3 1333/corsair cx600 power supply.
