Any way I can downgrade USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 ports on Corsair Air 540

Hello, my a97 r2.0 mobo is lacking somewhere to plug this in for the front USB ports on my case. Is it possible that I swap the front USB ports for USB 2.0 from my spare case? Is it possible to disassemble that or is it all welded together? What would be a solution to get front USB ports on my case to work?

Thanks.

You want something like this:

Most of us would stick a piece of tape over the unused ports, and add in a few new ports in a drive-bay-thingy.

Alternately, You could buy a PCI/PCIe USB 3.0 board that would give You the right connectors.

Just a weird question, why do you want to downgrade from USB 3.0 to 2.0 anyways? :O

At first I didn't know that there was such thing as a 19 to 9 pin USB adapter. I have nowhere to plug the 19 pin onto my current mobo, restricting me from using the front USB ports on my case. I thought I was going to just swap the ports out to older ones, but the adapter solved the problem, and I don't have to downgrade.
