i recently purchased all the parts for my first computer build and was putting it all together.
when i start hooking my power supply into everything it all fit fine, except for the the 24 pin connector into the motherboard. after a while it finally went in but my power supply won't turn on with it plugged in. i tested it with a paperclip disconnected from everything and it turned on perfectly. please help me if you can
the motherboard is an ASRock 990FX Extreme3
and the power supply is a Corsair CX 430
