I want to assign one device on my home network (Zoom 5350 cable modem/router) a static IP address, but leave the other devices dynamic. Can someone advise me how to do this or suggest a link that explains it? If it matters, it's because I have a Mythtv backend and want to add another frontend on another device, and this is not possible if the backend has a dynamic IP.

Thanks guys. The problem is I've never set up a static IP on a home network before, so I'm not completely sure how to do it. I've looked around at the menu options on the admin interface, and there is nothing that is obviously for this purpose. The DHCP tab on basic setup let's you turn on or off the DHCP server, set the IP start/end addresses, set a lease time, and gives a list of DHCP clients. There is a button "return to DHCP pool" but that seems to apply to items on the list of clients.
