I know this is such a noobish question, but 24% of my memory is being used by background processes and I want to know what I can close out of and what is necessary.

There is stuff I'm seeing like AVG security and NVIDIA that I'm not sure which things need to be open. Then there's stuff that I have no idea what it even is. I don't want to mess something up by randomly closing stuff so I thought I'd ask for advice. Thanks for any help!

I did some research and fiddling and got it down to 24-27 processes.

Is there anything here that I don't need?

Hi KoleTang

The best thing to do would be to leave it as it as windows will automatically close the background services as and when it is in need of more memory....the background services help to reduce reopening time of an application that has already been opened once and closed...Also I did check the list and there doesnt seem to be any fishy application here that is just eating up your memory. Hope this helps :)
