As the title suggests this is about two difffernt corsair power supplies. I currently am using the CX600M in my build but I am worried that it will not be sufficient and reliable for many years in future proofing and safety. I looked at reviews more throughly after the fact and seeing as the HX750 was on sale, and better than my current one, I bought it. Though I am still kind of on the fence if it was really worth the purchase and if I should return it since the main reasons I would use it is the chance of SLI 760s (unlikely though), use of higher graphics cards or overclocking the gpu and cpu (I want to go over 4GHZ on a I5-4670K). What is your opinion on the two power supplies? Should I keep it or return it and continue using my current one. Thanks ahead of time for the feedback and useful knowledge!

I have not opened the new one yet and can get a full refund.

One thing to consider, Corsair is dropping those PSUs.

The HX is a far superior power supply to the CX. Here is a collection of reviews, take a look at all the golden awards the HX lineup has one throughout the industry. The cx lineup is an entry level PSU and wasn't really designed for high end systems with overclocks. The capacitors are cheaper ones than the ones in the HX lineup.

What exactly do you mean? Discontinuing them? Do you know at all when?

Do you have a link to an article with that information? I want to know what that means with the warranty and service.
