Hello

I had the GA-78LMT-USB3 motherboard, AMD FX 6100 Corsair CX 750m Power Supply and 8 gig of RAM.

do I need to update bios if I were to upgrade to EVGA GTX 760 card since my board is PCI-E 2.0 and the card is PCI-I 3.0?

the evga tech agent said that I perhaps need to update the bios if I were to use the EVGA GeForce GTX760 SuperClocked w/EVGA ACX Cooler card on my GA-78LMT-USB3 broad.

I don't what he mean by that but my board GA-78LMT-USB3 had F4 which is the latest bios version.

do you think he mean if I use PCI-E1.0 or and out of date bios?

I understand it won't be as fast if it were install on PCI-E 3.0 slot but it will be faster than my old GTX 560 Ti card but what the change that it won't work -- meaning system boot up.
