run two pci express cards, on gigabyte p55a-ud4

Hello...

I was woundering if it possibal to run two pci express cards, on gigabyte p55a-ud4 just to be abal to use more monitors on my computer, i know the funkion SLI works that i can you but then i have to buy expencive cards, i have on 16x pci express card and one asus pci express card can i use both to have more monitors on my computer ??...

Tnx for replay, i have tryed to run a simpel pci and one pci express could not get picture on both grafic cards, now i have got another pci express card i was just woundering in it will work better with 2 pci express card than one pci and one pci express card, ??

As long as the drivers do not have any conflicts and it's supported theoretically it should work fine. It's just in my experience, at this price point it's just as cheap to use pci-e with a newer card at the same price (less power draw, less chance of driver conflict etc). I'm surprised you cannot get it to work. I say try and see your pci (non "e") route and let us know how it goes. You won't likely damage anything; worst case is it won't work and you try the more common current route that I'm recommending and exchange for the single card solution. Hope this helps get you going!

Now i have reinstalled computer 2 times with the 2 pci E cards, and the second time thg nividia gts 450 can not be installd, it shows as just a standard VGA adapter, i have tryed to switch the PCI E locations but still the 2 PCI E cards wont show picture when i run windows

its a nividia gts 450
and an nividia geforce 7300 gs

Any help is welcome :)

Now i have reinstalled computer 2 times with the 2 pci E cards, and the second time thg nividia gts 450 can not be installd, it shows as just a standard VGA adapter, i have tryed to switch the PCI E locations but still the 2 PCI E cards wont show picture when i run windows

its a nividia gts 450
and an nividia geforce 7300 gs

Any help is welcome :)
