I'm looking to change my Corsair H80i to a Swiftech H220. I've done two re-application of TIM (MX-4) in cpu and I still get the same results when playing Battlefield 4. 73-77C @ 2200RPM, 20C ambient. Should I upgrade my H80i?

OC settings:

Vcore = +1.29v adaptive | 45x
Vring = +1.22v adaptive | 42x
Vccin = 1.9v
sys agent = +0.23v
i/o analog = +0.15v
i/o digital = +0.15v
pch = 0.9v

It's not going to be a huge difference. The pump in any of the all in one coolers can't keep up. If you want to upgrade get in more overclocking, then get a real water cooling kit like one of these. http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l3/g30/c321/s1310/list/p1/...

They will make a big difference in what you can cool and overclock.

Any of the all in one water coolers, are only a bit better than a high end air cooler. They are just nice looking and easier to put out of the way in a case. I have one, I have no complaints, but in my pursuit of 5ghz, I realized I can't hit it for nothing unless I got the next step to full on water cooling.

Honestly the max temp is something like 90 C but you will experience throttling beforehand. I would honestly say if you're under 80 C then it's nowhere near critical.

However, I would still check the situation out. Do you have proper airflow in the case? How long have you have the H80i and have you installed both fans? I have H80i on an FX-8120 @ 4.0GHz, I never did change my voltages though but I know it stays very cool, even for an AMD that you can fry at 65 C. If you absolutely must OC I would tell you to go ahead and purchase a better cooler if the 0.7GHz is worth it to you, but honestly I would just wait and stick with stock clocks at the moment. Are you throttling the CPU?

Edit: Completely agreed with getochkn on everything. If you're going to spend anything over $100 you might as well take the time and make your own custom waterloop. It will cost less and cool/look better ;)

My Arc Midi R2 case has five 140mm fans with 66CFM each. Two are top exhaust, other three are intake in front and bottom. H80i mounted rear push/pull exhaust. I must absolutely OC because I started playing with OC and tried stock clocks, big difference.

My problems in custom loops are limited availability and high prices if I get from US to Canada.

Well the starter XSPC kit is $150 + 25 shipping from frozencpu and with exchange puts its at $198. Looking at newegg the Switchtech 220 was $140 when it was in stock, plus shipping, plus taxes (you might get dinged on taxes for the import from the states, might not, it's always hit and miss) but you're not far off. The cheapest H100i is even $125 right now. I'd save and go that rough. I don't think an 2x120mm cooler is going to give you much more than 1x120mm right now honestly. You need to make the jump to real water cooling.

If I didn't get my Seidon for a great price, plus having store credit from a return, I don't think I would have spend $110+ for it when a real water cooling is so close and expandable to your gpu and more rad's, etc.

Actually today is the last day of sale for the Swiftech H220 for $120 + free shipping at NCIX.ca so I figured ask here first before making a decision. NCIX.ca has also XSPC kits but that one you suggested is out of stock. I might get into that once it is stocked.
