arma 2/3 and dayz

Hello I'm looking to build a PC that can play these games on hi or ultra settings but I'm not sure what to get. This build will have to have a monitor keyboard and a mouse as well. Let set the budget at $600-1500

    A tentative idea.

It can be drastically modified to cut or increase the costs as per your requirements.

For ARMA 3 you should think about going for the first build as the benchmarks show that Gtx 780 can keep it around 60 fps mostly which is a good gauge of GPU's performance.

If you have extra cash, you could safely buy a Gtx 780ti instead for 700 dollars and that will be comparable to the performance of almost a Gtx Titan and you should be good to go.

DayZ is a very poorly optimized game, but you should be okay for most parts with a Gtx 780.

However, if you have extra cash, go for Gtx 780ti version for 700 dollars.
  6. ty for the arma 3 video tests so it looks like sli is the way to go im not sure how to go that way but. heres a build

Actually for gaming the GTX 780ti performs better than the titan by a noticeable margin. The Titan is basically a workstation part re-branded as a gaming card. Unless you are going to be using applications that will take advantage of the Titans double precision floating point performance you're basically throwing away money on an inferior gaming card. If you are going to be doing a lot of 3D modeling/rendering, high end video encoding with gpu acceleration support, or autocad etc, then the Titan is a great bargain compared to the Quadro line of workstation cards. Thats the primary reason they are still sold with a higher price tag than the 780ti.
  8. Yeah Titans aren't The best for gaming, and it is way more expensive then the 780
