Hi everyone. I'm planning to get an ASUS GT630-DCSL-2GD fanless to upgrade my inspiron 580 i3 2.93GHz. I'm not a gammer I just want it to run smooth with dual monitor. Does anyone know if it will work properly with a 300W power supply, or if it will fit in the DELL case??
Thanks in advance

It should fit inside your case. It uses a PCI Express 2.0 slot, which is very common. Your current power supply should be enough as the graphics card you'd like to purchase only has a power consumption of 75W. Install your graphics card in the slot, and install the drivers (digitally or using the CD provided). Then you're good to go.

If your PC is 580s (slim variant) you will need a low profile card.
If it is a normal PC tower the Asus will be OK. The case looks a bit cramped (on internet photos), but most probably the card will fit. But it will be good to open it and check the available space.

Hei thank you guys for your answers. Awesome that it only consumes 75W. That is a really low figure. As for the case it's a normal one but I previously had problems with it installing my SSD on it because DELL seems not do things like everyone else. You've both convinced me. As soon as i get hands on it and have it installed I'll go back to you to make you know.
Again many thanks
