Hey , I'm looking to buy a computer for my girlfriend she would like to play a few games without having fps issues. (EG Sims 3 , Assassins Creed, Civ 5 etc.)

I need to build it around the Bitfenix Prodigy case either the M or standard one she would like to move it around and this case provides the best option for that.

Case: BitFenix Prodigy M Case White
Harddrive: Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001
CPU: Intel Core i5 4440
Motherboard: ASRock B85M-PRO4 Motherboard
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 OC 1GB
Ram: G.Skill Sniper F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
PSU: FSP Raider 550W Power Supply
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB 24x DVDRW OEM
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit with SP1 OEM

A few questions too, I have a spare Corsair CMX8GX3M2A2000C9 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 Ram Kit that i can use and replace the GSkill Ram but im not sure about compatibility. Also i'll be replacing the DVD Drive in the system with my one at home "LG CH12NS30 12X BD-R Blu-Ray DVD Combo Drive"

The system INC Monitor Keyboard and mouse should be roughly 1500 MAX but even that's pushing it.

Can be found here;

Kind regards,

Justin

Ditch the Prodigy M for a standard Prodigy. Also, if portability is key, then you should consider other ITX cases, as by ITX standards the Prodigy is very large and the handles don't really make it any more portable.

Of PSUs available on pcasegear, I'd suggest the Antec HCG range.

A GTX750 doesn't make much sense in a build of this sort of budget, it's fairly low end. I imagine you'll end up spending quite a lot more on something better.

Ive switched some parts around and came up with using the

Gainward GeForce GTX 760 2GB and changed the mobo as far as psu is there any specific reason i should change? and would the Antec High Current Gamer 620W Modular HCG-620M be fine to use if i did?

Ive looked for other cases but my girlfriend seems weirdly attached to the prodigy green lol
