Hi all
I've been using Avira for years. Just renewed my subscription to discover that the 2014 version has everything except a firewall. Instead it activates and provides access to Windows Firewall.
Now, a cynic might point to a company trying to save money, while someone more optimistic might suggest that Windows Firewall is of high enough standard to be dependable.
Thing is, I do like the Avira suite - it has served me well. But will it continue to be successful with Windows Firewall in place of its own?
Any thought would be greatly appreciated.
