Hello my daughter uses my packard bell tj65 a while back someone fixed the power jack and whilst doing that he removed my windows vista with recovery partition and put on a copy of win 7 ( he wasn't asked to) Anyway i had a windows 7 disc for it ( upgrade) that i had bought, so i redid it with the genuine copy.
My daughter recently got a virus and we decided to format the pc and reinstall, when i reinstalled the win 7 it activated fine but there was a pop up saying it is not genuine, im assuming its because we formatted and the vista isn't there any more. can i reinstall the windows vista from my discs? the partition is gone so i guess i would have to make a new partition ( the partition it tries to install to is too small), even them i am worried it may not work.. any help please ?
