Hey guys !
First of all my CPU is an I7 2600 Sandybridge 3.4ghz and i have 16gb of Corsair Vengeance Ram.
Before i reinstalled my windows everything worked fine.

Now a few days ago i noticed some performance issues and found out that one of my hardrives' S.M.A.R.T system showed it was having problems, so i bought an OCZ vector 128gb SSD and two Western Digital 3T Red Caviar HD's to run them mirrored for backup and ditched the unhealthy HD, and this was the only change to the system since the problem started.
Now i installed my windows on the SSD for maximum performance, but now each time i have a music player running in the background while i browse the web or open heavy files with Premiere pro or RAW photo files with my photoshop i get clicks and pops, which by logic indicates that the system is not powerful enough to do both things . . but it worked fine before! and i could live with this if it was only in Heavy program use but it even happens in Chrome, i mean i can't put some music on youtube and surf along the way . . it clicks and pops when opening new pages.

I have tried 3 different soundcards External and Internal USB and PCI - All the same
Checked all the settings in the sound control panel, disabled all enhancements and tried switching play mode from 48khz - 41khz - All the Same
I just reinstalled my windows and all the drivers are new and updated - All the same
Since it was doing it when writing/reading files (temp internet files or cache in programs) i thought it might be an issue with the HD or SSD so i ran benchmarks and checked health - all the same
I thought it might be not enough room for cache files so i fired up photoshop changed the cache writing to a different Disk and Freed up space on the SSD leaving it with 40gb free space - All the Same.

I'm pretty lost here . . i think i tried everything, what can be causing this ?!
Help! and thanks in advance !

Bios settings haven't been changed since the problem, hmm which voltage do you mean ? on the RAM ?

EDIT: oh and i also forgot to say i'm running SKYRIM on my SSD with tons of mods and HD texture packs and my 680gtx 2gb works under a 90 -99 percent load and no sound issues . .

hmm... if you can game without issues then it is unlikely a voltage problem...

When you reinstalled, do you know if you installed newer drivers? or did you install the same older drivers?

Also, you mentioned that you are running several different sound cards. If you pair down to a single installed (physical and drivers) device, then does the issue go away?

I have no idea i pretty much did it all on auto pilot . .
I didn't want to get to this part but i i will try it now, somehow my gut is telling me it's a setting somewhere in windows, because he does this when he writes files basically . .

Ok some development on the issue, since it happens mostly when i browse people said it could be the network card drivers . . funny enough, so someone that actually removed a windows 7 optional update for his intel onboard card actually fixed his problem, and i have the same onboard card (Intel controller i have the ASUS p67 Sabertooth motherboard) and i remember when reinstalling my windows i saw it in the updates list but now when i go to the uninstall menu i just can't find it!
I tried searching for the update's code but to no avail, i don't even have the full name for it, some thing involved intel network something.
Does anyone remember the updates code ? or perhaps a way to find it ?

Ok i'm going to desperately shed some more light on the situation maybe something will pop up .
So it seems to be happening only when the computer works for a few hours so it becomes worst over time . . but if i restart it goes away . . until it starts again . . i read about some people with the same problem but their solutions didn't help me, anyone here had the same problem maybe ?

drivers would show up in the hardware manager, not the program manager, that may be part of your issue. Use the current drivers from the manufacturer of your equipment, not the CD that came with it. ASUS' web page should have all of the drivers you need, and updating the graphics or network driver may (though unlikely) solve the issue.

I already stated i'm using the latest drivers for all my hardware, and i know where the drivers are stored i meant the windows 7 update which dosen't show under hardware.
