Hello guys,

I recently purchased a brand new Sapphire HD 7750 O.C Edition (link is at the bottom of the post). The problem that I am experiencing is that when I attempt to play a game, I usually get a 'gray screen' or a 'gray-ish screen with vertical lines'. I've also experienced a 'white screen' once or twice while watching a Youtube video.

I've re-installed Windows 7 and tried several drivers however, this has not helped. I have tried to clean my PCI-E slot and re-insert the GPU, also to no avail.

I know that my PSU is not great quality but technically it should be providing enough power for this card, or is that not the case?

Please, can anyone offer any advise or suggestions as to what I could do to fix this problem or should I simply return the card?

Thank you in advance.

Please see my system specs below:

Motherboard - G31M3 V2(MS-7529)
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66GHz
RAM - 2x 2GB DDR2
PSU - 450W (that came with the case) http://matrixonlineshop.co.za/components/power-supplies/450w-to-650w/power-supply-450w/
GPU - http://www.comx.co.za/SC-S77501GD5oC-Sapphire-HD7750-O-C-edition-PCi-E-3-Buy-p-59749.php

Solution
The card would not be acceptable product to me if it can not run advertised speed. So really up to you but I believe the card is faulty.

Hello, thanks for the quick reply. :)

I've not tried my previous GPU again as it's a GT 610 and I'd prefer to not change the drivers back to Nvidia.

I originally thought that the issue might be some kind of driver conflict but after installing a fresh Windows 7 32-bit, nothing changed.

Do you suggest that I uninstall my AMD drivers and try the GT 610 again? I never had a problem with it in the past (except that it's a terrible card, of course). :p

Unfortunately, I do not have another system at my disposal.

Is it possible that the fact that the card is 'factory overclocked' could be causing some instability?

Perhaps I should try to underclock it or something. I just want to eliminate all possible issues before sending the card back. I would much rather not wait ages for a replacement.

Thanks again for the assistance, I do appreciate it.
