Looking to build my first pc. My budget is around $1000. I'm looking to play games like skyrim and similar games with excellent quality. I also want to watch blu Ray and hd movies with no problems. Other things I'd like included: Ssd, blu Ray player, and a case that will b sufficient for future upgrades(fans , liquid cooling, extra hard drive). I guess my main concern is compatibility for everything.

Here's my build if you live near a Microcenter and are willing to order from Newegg. You just need to add a Blu-ray drive. Parts that aren't listed with a supplier are from Microcenter and are discounted from the CPU + motherboard combo.

Things you should know:

You should buy both SSD and HDD, because bigger than 120Gb SSD will cost A LOT. So you should buy 120Gb SSD (or maybe ~64Mb) and 750Gb - 1Tb HDD.

Make sure the Motherboard you buy supports all the other parts (CPU socket mostly. Everything else will likely be supported unless you go really cheap)
Make sure the case you buy supports the MB (ATX, mATX or µATX)
Make sure you buy a PSU with big enough wattage. (If you're not sure, you can use PCpartpicker or something similiar to check it) Probably better to get at least 600W or more for future needs. (I would recommend Corsair, Seasonic or maybe Cooler master)

The most important parts are GPU and CPU. I'm going to let you figure those out yourself, but I would use maybe ~300$ on the GPU.
