double emails coming in

weInge just got new computers, 2 hps, the allinone desktop is getting double emails when new ones arrive. it also does not download pics while surfing on eBay, my wife's job at ome. any help would be appreciated, thaks ron

Thanks for the info

What I would suggest is please check if you have the same account configured twice in the mail application you are referring.

To see email from different accounts in the Mail app, you need to add them.

On Start, tap or click Mail.

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Settings.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Settings.)

Tap or click Accounts.

Then check if you have the same account being displayed twice. If that is the case delete once of the accounts and then restart the system and then you should be seeing only single emails.

Could you please provide more information as to how are you accessing your email I mean which application...also it would be helpful if you could provide the details of the computer like the make and the OS being used etc . Thanks :)

we are only able to get email from the start page mail folder. the os is windows 8.1 ,hp computer. I am ready to take both of these computers back, too hard to try to use.
