I am looking to build a NAS system for storing movies, the nas will be accessed through blu-ray players and TV DNLA. This would not be a HTPC. it would just store .mp4 and be accessed through DLNA. No transcoding, i believe.

my question is, what motherboard cpu combo best for a strictly NAS system that i mentioned.
Would a motherboard with CPU on board or a motherboard with cpu separate?
Also what type of chip is best for NAS that i mentioned, Haswell, Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge or celeron?

I have read some post that a lot of people stat that anything beyond Celeron/Pentium is overkill for a NAS system.
I don't want to spend to much if it is not going to be needed.

the mobo link does not work, also it has to be a mini ITX to fit in the case that i mentioned.
I did look at the Intel Pentium Dual Core G3220 but i wasn't sure which would be best for NAS.
