Hello, I will start off by telling you my pc specs and i'll get to my question afterward.
Specs: I5 3570k H60, Asrock pro3 mobo, gtx 760w/acx, 8gb g.skill ram 1333, corsair cx600 psu.

Ok, so i have come up with about $250 cash to spend on well w/e i want really, and my computer can't really get much better other than my mobo. So i have been looking around newegg trying to decide what i should buy because this computer is my hobby it's what i want to put money into to get joy out of. I was thinking of selling my Gtx 760 and upgrading to a gtx 780 for $500. I like the 760 it's definately a stand up card but the way i see it is if i get the 780 now it leaves me an upgrade path later on down the line when the single 780 isn't enough. I would just like some opinions from people with or without the 780 on whether i should go for this or not.

It will be the first gpu i have spent more than 250 dollars on, so i'm a little thrown back by throwing a 500 dollar card in my rig. I am open to any other suggestion you may have any feedback is much appreciated. Thank you and i am looking forward to your replies :)

Solution
well, i would get a new mobo and save your money for another 760, cuz a 770 or 780 will cost more than a mobo and a 760. up to you, so good luck :)

I agree and i see what you are saying but my mobo doesn't have the capacity for sli 760's and sli seems to be a bit hit and miss. either way my budget wouldn't allow for a 760 and a mobo
