hey guys I wanted to buy a amd a10 6800k and overclock the intergrated graphics card of the apu, but I don't wanna' make it explode, or burn..
So imagine I'd get a decent cpu cooler (Gelid Solutions Tranquillo Rev.2 or something) could I overclock the igpu to like 1000MHz? (it's 844MHz)
And by how much would that improve my frame-rate?

Just wondering..

it will improve performance but not by a long shot, For that CPU it wouldn't be worth overclocking it, it will get super hot but not so much if you have a CPU cooler. For the performance gain you get from overclocking your CPU, it isn't worth it.

Instead of overclocking your integrated graphics for better performance, you should consider getting really high speed ram because that will give you a huge performance in graphics. Make sure you have at least 1866 speed and then you can overclock your Ram which will give you better graphics improvements then overclocking the integrated graphics.
