I work at a computer lab and I have been asked to look into the possibility of using a portable power source for a monitor (connected to the tower wirelessly) so it can be fully mobile without worrying about the reach of the cables or getting tripped by it.

I'm hoping someone have some experience with using a portable power source for their computer.

So far I found this but I have no clue if it is appropriate or not.

I'm having hard time searching for portable power because it keeps giving me results for portable charging of smartphones. It's maddening.

We already have a touchscreen monitor for the teacher to use. We also use a HDMI matrix (16 in, 32 out.) The tower for that monitor is already all set up and hooked up through the matrix. The links I found are 250 to 450 dollars. Laptops these day at that price would be too small or not powerful enough.
