ASRock 990FX Extreme3 VS GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3P
Hello, this is the second time I ask you about MB. Last time people said that GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3P would be the best solution for FX-6300(OC) + 7790 (8+2 power phase) but now I have something different in mind. The second PCIE slot on this MB is x4 and I was thinking about buying r7 260x after some time for crossfire (and running on x4 is not what I want). So I looked for some MB's with 2xPCIE x16 slots. And I found that ASrock are the only MB's with more than one PCIE x16 slot. So here comes the question. ASR 990FX Extreme3 is 4+1 Power phase and I'm not sure how much can I OC the CPU with this MB. If I cant OC on this MB what do you suggest me? ASRock 990FX Extreme4? Or ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer which is a bit more expensive? I want the PC upgradeable so I can go for FX 8/9 series and second GPU after some years.
Since i'm not a huge fan of Asrock boards i'm going to suggest this:
Yes it only has x16 + x8 pci-e slots, that will be more then enough for 2 260x in xfire.
