Hi,

It's been a while since I upgraded my CPU and mobo, I´m looking for a good AMD fm cpu that is better than my current Amd Phenom II 1055T 6 core 2,8ghz (3,2ghz (urbo tech). I´ve had it for 2 years and I paid it for 156€

My current cpu is still good I think but i´d like to upgrade but I don´t have the knowledge when it comes for stuff to choose really. I know how to build but I have no clue how to know which one to choose that will outperform my current CPU etc. I'm aware that i will need FM mobo

My budget: 223€

I was thinking about to buy this upgrade package that is worth my budget but I can also save money for better components if its not worth it.

CPU: AMD A8 5600K 3.6ghz 4 core
Mobo: MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 mATX
Memory: 8 GB, (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz, A-data XPG 1600 MHz

My current system spec:

AMD: Phenom II 1055t A6
Mobo: ASRock 3N78D
Memory: (2x2GB) CL9 1333Mhz VALUE SELECT (Got 6k)

Solution
IMHO, an APU is not sufficiently better than what you have now to justify the upgrade cost. A FX-6300 or [locked] i5 would make a lot more sense.

Corsair CX 600W V2 80+ (CMPSU-600CXV2EU)

Nvidia Geforce Gigabyte 650GTX Windforce geforc Ti 2gb

World of Warcraft, Battlefield 3, 4, sometimes while playing Bf3 and WoW for several hours its starting to stuttering a bit until I close the game and restart

What motherboard do you have? Will it support a FX-6300? If the stuttering begins after a few hours, see if something is starting to get hot, in which case your system may be throttling. Do you have the newest sound and LAN drivers for your board? Going from 2x2GB to 2x4GB of RAM may help you too.

17-19 idle right now on all cores, while playing the game it jumps to 30-38 max with all settings ulta. No overclocking and i´m using stock cooler. But I added 2k more ram before so I got 6k total, feels like its better now but friend told me before it was because I had low ram (4k) but would like to upgrade something decent :D but still not sure if it will stop stuttering but I had like 400-600 memory left while playing WoW when I had 4k perhaps it was ram issue, Idk

I need a FM mobo also for that cpu, is it better than my current? And what does make a CPU faster/better than others?
