First of all, it that's the wrong section for this thread, then sorry, wasn't sure where to put it.
Straight to the point, I recently started building a computer, bought a Corsair RM550W power supply. After that, I decided I will be clocking my cpu. Question is, will that Corsair handle clocking the 4670k, hopefully at 4.4Ghz?

I've already received the power supply so if it's not absolutely necessary, I wouldn't really want to return it. According to partpicker, this setup would drain about ~420 watts. How much of an increase in wattage usage will clocking bring?

I don't think that's the right parts list...
So, I can tell what video card(s) you have.

1. The pcpartpicker link you put up there is just a link to the build your system page, not your build. Try again on that.
2. Overclocking doesn't really require extra wattage, you will do fine overclocking with that PSU

Edit: Yea, RM550 will be able to handle your build along with overclock as overclocking CPU doesn't require much more watts than those that you need for a safe setup

That 423W estimate looks rather high; I'd have guessed 350W-375W. I mined BTC with a HD7970 for a while, and running flat out it was only pulling 312W from its UPS.

Yes the 550w psu will do just fine.

I'm sure most people will be surprised.

Woah, I'm really suprised myself tbh!

So according to the video Hamster put up and your estimations, this build would work perfectly fine on RM550W with 4670k @ 4.4Ghz and GTX 770? Would I still have some overhead to add some hdd's etc?
