Hello all,

I am in limbo between a build i original picked myself and one I have seen on the forum recently.
Just wondering which is better value for money as I'm on a budget, and which is most future proof/upgradable.

Intel Build;
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor (£159.59 @ Aria PC)

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Pro4-M Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard (£60.94 @ Amazon UK)
Memory: Avexir MPOWER Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£53.90 @ Overclockers.co.uk)
Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 280X 3GB Video Card (£235.99 @ Amazon UK)
Case: Cooler Master N200 MicroATX Mid Tower Case (£33.41 @ Ebuyer)
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (£44.98 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £605.32

AMD Build;
CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor (£133.99 @ Aria PC)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard (£89.99 @ Maplin Electronics)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£64.99 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk (£61.56 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£54.98 @ Aria PC)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB Video Card (£159.98 @ Novatech)
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (£55.00)
Total: £620.49

Thanks in advance,
Sam

well the first build is the better one... but the 2nd would FEEL like the better system in your day to day life... SSDs are huge "user experience" boost... and i generally consider them required hardware on any new system. if you can squeeze one into your budget do it.
