Selling my gpu...Now what?

I'm about to sell my gtx 760 on amazon and the funds are going to go towards a gtx 780 :D . Would I be able to surf the web and watch youtube videos on my system now that I don't have my gpu? Im using an fx 6300 and 8gigs of 1600 ram

As long as your motherboard has built in DVI and HDMI outputs you should be fine.

Nope, you'll be SOL. The FX chips don't have integrated graphics.

If he has a 760g chipset board, it will have built in video. Whether he can use his computer with no GPU depends on the motherboard in this case, not the CPU.

Im using the msi 970a-g46 and it has a vga input...I realize I would be looking at garbage but would it still work?

Your motherboard does not have on-board video. The port that looks kind of like a VGA port is a serial port. You will not have any video output until you get a replacement GPU.

As shortstuff_mt said you can't use the PC at all until you get a replacement GPU!
