Hello.

I have a Linksys WRT54G router connected to an ISP provided modem. It has firmware version v1.00.9. I have 6 computers, 5 tablets/phones, and an Xbox connected to this router. At least 3 times a day any one of these devices will either get kicked off the internet or won't be able to connect on startup. This usually happens when there are many devices on at once but has happened when there are very few. It also seems to happen more often to computers that are connected through WiFi, but has happened to computer that are wired. I thought it may be a matter of the Static IP I had set on my server, but changing that to DHCP did not solve the problem. The router is set to DHCP itself with 20 DHCP Max License Handout. There are no ports forwarded.

What I have been doing for the past 3 years is just turning the router off and back on again, and I have been Googling around for ages with no luck whatsoever.

Is it just that my Router is broken or is there a solution to this problem?

Thanks.
