I am upgrading my computer. I am buying a new mobo, cpu, and ssd. I currently have a 1tb hdd with Windows 7 and other stuff on it. I want to use the ssd to install windows 7. Do I only plug in the ssd and install windows 7 and after it installs plug in the hdd and make the disk online so i can access it and use the program CCleaner to wipe whats on it? Or do I plug the hdd in and make it online and format it and assign it to a drive letter? I am really confused and would like if someone could help me. Thanks :D

How do I verify the boot order and how should the order look? Also when I connect my old HDD do I need to format it or anything first or can I use CCleaner to wipe it then format it?

Boot order is in the BIOS. At startup, whatever key gets you into the BIOS DEL or similar.
And you can wipe the HDD directly within Disk Management. Select each partition on it. Delete. Reformat.
Now you have a clean HDD you can use for whatever.

How do I wipe it within Disk Management (Sorry, Im a noob :p) do i just right click the things next to where it says disk 1 (when i install the ssd i assume it will be disk 0 and the hdd will be disk 1?) click delete volume? Also what should my boot order be CD rom, ssd, and then when I install the HDD make it so its after the ssd or is it automatically like that? or do I not even need to put the hdd in the boot order? Sorry for so many questions, just wanna make sure T_T

For the boot order, don't even have it in there. There will be no bootable info on it, so it doesn't matter, but neater to leave it off.

For the HDD:
Right click on whatever partitions you see.
Delete Volume
Eventually, you'll have one big space.
Format
You'll probably have to give it a drive letter.
Done
