I want to build a gaming PC for around $1,000-$1,200. This is my current build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2WduQ I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for cases and if I need mid or full tower. Also if these parts look good or I should upgrade anything. This is my first time building a computer.

I just found this graphics card and was wondering if I should get it instead as it's only $50 more. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E5AEIKE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Thanks!

I would definitely go with the 770 if you can. Also moved it to Haswell, and included the Fractal Design Define R4:

Build looks good. And the 770 over the 760 is well and I mean well worth the upgrade now for $50. If your spending a grand, $50 more for that card is just a no brainer. I have that same one as well, and I love it. Ive got the 2gb model, I cant remember if that link was for the 4gb or not. But either way 770 evga sc is a very good card.

ok, what do you think about fans? And is the i5 fine? I did some research and the i7 didn't seem that much better unless I wanted dual monitors or something.

Only going with a single 770 and a 4670k you'd be fine with the ones that come with the case. If you plan on overclocking, you may thing about at least a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler, and maybe an extra intake fan for the front of the case.

The i5 is perfect for gaming, definitely not worth the extra $100 for the i7. I love my 4670k. I have a 4670k and 760 overclocked to near stock 770 levels, and I can play Ultra/Maxed in pretty much everything.
