Hey guys,
So I'm about to purchase a SAGER NP3980 laptop with the following specs:
GTX 780M (single) GPU
i7-4700MQ processor
256 GB SSD
1TB 7200RPM HDD

I will use the laptop primarily for gaming/business. I play mostly Starcraft II and WoW, as well as Diablo 3, but I'm possibly looking to get into some FPS games like Bioshock. I also use the laptop for lots of business stuff, some CAD/3D modeling, etc.

I have two questions:
1. Is 3D worth it? What kind of benefits should I expect to see from getting a 3D display setup? Is the battery life the same, etc. Also, is it just a switch somewhere on the NVIDIA control panel to turn 3D on and off? How much more GPU/CPU intensive is it than a normal matte screen? I'm a total 3D noob so any information about it would be extremely helpful.

2. Is the 4800MQ worth it, especially considering the 3D upgrade? It's going for +180$ right now over the 4700MQ, and I can't decide if it's worth it. What kind of performance differences am I looking to see for each things that I'll mostly be doing with it? Again any information is much appreciated.

Thanks all!
Mitch
