It is about 10 year old technology and too old to upgrade it to play modern games since it only supports PCI graphics cards and not PCI-E. You should continue to save your money until you can buy a newer system. To give you an idea: I have a socket 775 Q6600 paired with a HD 6870 that can play Just Cause 2 on High settings on a 1050p monitor. You don't need a new system, just a newer one with a decent graphics card.

From NukaColaHunter:
[I don't know how to reply in the forum since I'm new but I just wanted know because I've seen lots people do some crazy stuff to the dimension like changing the motherboard adding fans etc so I should just save my money and get something better or is there anything you recommend?]

You could do crazy stuff but it would be better to get a case with more upgrade options and better airflow. You can get a new case for $20 after rebate that would be better. A used socket 775 motherboard & Q6600 CPU and 4 gb of at least PC6400 memory should cost no more than $120. You may be able to find a good used graphics card on craigslist or elsewhere that will meet you gaming and budget needs. For example today someone listed a GTX 650ti 2 gb for $60 on my local craigslist. You will then need to purchase a new PSU (recommended) to meet the power requirements of your system and graphics card. If you take your time and get sales and good deals you can piece together a cheap budget gaming system.

So, from what you suggest:
Different case
Different motherboard
Different CPU
Different RAM
Different GPU
Different PSU

How is that just not a whole new PC. And will not fit within $120.
Oh...I forgot...new OS to go along with that.

USAFRet is correct in that it would be a new computer to you once it is all built. I understand budget issues which is why I am recommending new/used components over time as you can afford them. You could also purchase a complete new or used computer when your budget allows. The main point is that it is not a wise use of your money to upgrade your current computer.
